FGSR Platform Comparison
This tool is intended to assist investigators in choosing a microarray platform. Specify your organism and genes of interest to see your genes' representation on several common platforms. Bear in mind that:
- This database does not contain control spots, gridding aids, corner markers, etc.
- Only publicly annotated genes are included. Specifically, this means that Applied Biosystems microarrays are severely underrepresented, as most of their content is only annotated by Celera Genomics. Celera annotations are available to customers who purchase ABI arrays
- The annotations used are supplied by the array vendors. Because they were created by different people at different times, details such as names and symbols of genes do vary. The most reliable search you can make is by Entrez Gene ID
